Jonathan & Katie Doub
Jonathan and Katie Doub have been missionaries in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan since the summer of 2006. They moved there full time in 2007 after they were married. Jonathan is from Winston Salem, NC and Katie is from York, England. Both studied at Calvary Bible College Europe in Hungary.
During their time in Kyrgyzstan, they and two other couples planted a church. They pastored the youth group, led worship, organized trips to the local orphanage, visited cancer patients at the hospital, hosted English clubs, led basketball camps, and organized community events. After handing over the healthy, growing church to native leadership, they moved back to Katie's home in England for a time of rest and of seeking the Lord's direction for the future. Jonathan is currently teaching at a local Bible college and Katie helps lead worship at a local church as they seek the Lord's will for where to plant next.
Jonathan and Katie have a son, Jackson, born in July 2009.
