College Hour is a time focused on equipping you to walk with God & impact others for a lifetime. Walk across the street following the 9 a.m. service for a time of instruction, discussion and fellowship!

April 28 at 5:45 p.m. | Youth Group at 4th & Spring
Students in grades 7-12 are welcome every Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. across the street from the church at 4th & Spring. We’ll spend time hanging out and playing games and have a time of teaching and small group discussion. For more information, email connor@rccbirmingham.org.

This will be our third installment of Love Thy City- a four-part learning and discussion series occurring once a month through May. May 8 at 7 p.m. | Theological Talkback at Avon Theater
During the summer, our church family gathers once a month for Theological Talkbacks – a time of teaching and discussion. This summer we’ll meet on May 8, June 5, and July 10 from 7pm-9pm at the Avon Theater in Lakeview. Our talkback series will focus on the spiritual disciplines, specifically the Word, friendships/Christian community, and prayer. Our May 8th Talkback will be led by Joel Busby, Lead Pastor of Grace Fellowship in Homewood. Joel will set the stage for how to think about the spiritual disciplines and why they matter and then teach, practically, on the discipline of reading Scripture. We’ll end with a time of Q&A.

Join us to pray for Muslim people during their season of Ramadan fasting on Tuesday, May 14. Come by 4th & Spring any time between 6 a.m.-9 p.m. where prayer stations will be setup. No childcare provided, but families are welcome, and there will be a kids’ station for ages 5+. Join us for a corporate prayer gathering in the sanctuary 7-8 p.m.

Enjoy a night of baseball and fellowship with other Redeemer members/attendees at the Birmingham Barons game! Purchase a general admission ticket online or in person and meet us at the grassy area (the berm) in right field. The game starts at 7:05 p.m., and make sure to stay for the firework show afterward!

Come join us for a churchwide night of worship on May 30th at 6:30 p.m., as we celebrate Ascension Day. Childcare will be provided for infants-2nd graders. Older children are encouraged to attend the service with their families.

Our June 5th Talkback will be led by Redeemer member Lindsey Smith.  Lindsey will discuss spiritual discipline of Christian friendship and community and why it matters. We’ll end with a time of Q&A.

June 8 at 8:00 a.m. | Bible Workshop: Genesis
Join us Saturday, June 8th from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at 4th & Spring for our inaugural Bible Workshop. Bible Workshops are hour-long learning sessions intended to equip all of us with an overview of a certain section of Scripture and how it fits within the whole biblical narrative. The end goal is that we would be a community that reads Scripture richly and deeply. Our first Workshop will start with “In the beginning…” as Connor Coskery will guide us through the book of Genesis. We hope that you will join us!
