February 24 at 10:30 a.m. | College Hour at 4th & Spring
College Hour is a time focused on equipping you to walk with God & impact others for a lifetime. Walk across the street following the 9 a.m. service for a time of instruction, discussion and fellowship!

February 24 at 1 p.m. | College Cohort Begins
The College Cohort exists for the purpose of training college students in cross-cultural evangelism, discipleship, and ministering as a team. Any college students who want to have missional community and to grow in evangelism are welcome.  The cohort will be a 10-week disciple-making group, and it will begin the last week of February and finish the first week of May. February 24 at 6:00 p.m. | Love Thy City
Come Sunday, February 24 at 6 p.m. to the church for our first Redeemer Learning Community, Love Thy City. This cohort will meet once a month through May, and cover topics like racial reconciliation, poverty, orphan care and more. February 25 at 6 p.m. | Monday Night Ministry at Cornerstone in Woodlawn

March 1 (7-9 p.m.) and March 2 (8 a.m.- 2 p.m.) | Discipleship Conference
The Discipleship Conference is an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what it looks like to give your life away to make disciples. Friday night will be a time of vision and definition, and Saturday morning will include practical tools and an opportunity to put them into practice. Redeemer Kids has an exciting class for 5th and 6th graders! Club 56 will meet during the entire 11 a.m. service. For more information, or to enroll your child, please email regan@rccbirmingham.org

March 3 at 5:45 p.m. | Youth Group at 4th & Spring
Students in grades 7-12 are welcome every Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. across the street from the church at 4th & Spring. We’ll spend time hanging out, playing games and have a time of teaching and small group discussion. For more information, email youth@rccbirmingham.org.

March 4 at 6 p.m. | Monday Night Ministry
Every Monday evening, a group of boys and girls from the Avondale community gathers for sports, crafts, a devotional, and snacks provided and led by Redeemer members. Contact hannah@rccbirmingham.org for more information.

March 4 at 7:30 p.m. | College Gathering
The College Gathering is a bi-weekly meeting of college students at 4th and Spring. This meeting includes students from all over Birmingham as we gather in fellowship to worship and hear the word preached.

March 6 at 6:30 p.m. | Ash Wednesday
The church season of Lent begins Wednesday, March 6, on what is called Ash Wednesday. Our Ash Wednesday service will be at 6:30 p.m. and will consist of prayer, scripture, and the receiving of ashes and communion. Childcare will be provided for infants-1st grade, and will include a teaching time for ages 2 and up. Children ages 2nd grade and older are encouraged to attend the service.

March 9-15 at 5:45 | Dominican Republic Mission Trip

March 16 at 9:30 a.m. | Family Service Project
Parents and children can come to the Redeemer Kids area on Saturday, March 16 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for an assembly-line style service project. Families will pre-pack breakfast items for food insecure students at Avondale Elementary to have over Spring Break. This event is best suited for ages 4 and up, but all ages are welcome to attend. We’ll be working on various projects at the church and in the community  to deepen relationships with our local ministry partners. April 6 | Parenting Event with Brett Kunkle
Join us Saturday April 6th from 9am – noon for a parenting event here at the church. The speaker will be Brett Kunkle – the founder and president of MAVEN. He has more than 25 years of experience working with junior high, high school, and college students and has 3 children of his own. Brett will teach on Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World and A Practical Guide to the Discipleship of Your Kids. The event will be geared toward parents of upper elementary and teenage children, but anyone is welcome to attend! Register by clicking here
