Growing in Grace: Enjoying Jesus Through the Spiritual Disciplines

6-Weeks Starting March 8th // In-Person // Monday Evenings in Avondale

Hear his voice. Have his ear. Belong to his body. Three seemingly unremarkable principles shape and strengthen the Christian life: listening to God’s voice, speaking to Him in prayer, and joining together with His people as the church. The everyday habits of grace we cultivate give us access to these God-designed channels through which His love and power flow―including the greatest joy of all: knowing and enjoying Jesus.

Women's Study: "Steadfast: A Devotional Bible Study on the Book of James"

8-Weeks Starting March 30th & April 1st // In-Person // Multiple times and locations

In a fickle and wayward age, we need biblical wisdom if we are to stay the course and be steadfast believers. The book of James provides this wisdom, and Steadfast will help you apply it. This 8-week study includes 5 days of study each week, devotional commentary, a weekly memory verse, small group discussion questions, and teaching videos from The Gospel Coalition.

There are two groups meeting to discuss this book, one on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM (starting on March 30th) and the other on Thursday mornings at 9:15 AM.

Missions Study: God’s Heart for the City

Join us for a time of training as we discuss the importance of sharing the gospel and how to do it with your neighbors. This event is specifically geared toward the neighborhood around the church, and we will provide follow-up events to practice what you learn with others.

The Book of Ruth

8-Weeks Starting March 1st  // Meeting virtually  // Monday Evenings

Sex. Race. Scripture. Sovereignty. The book of Ruth includes them all. So readers shouldn’t be fooled by its age, says John Piper. Though its events happened over three thousand years ago, the story holds astounding relevance for Christians in the twenty-first century. Join us as Dr. Trucks leads us ona verse-by-verse journey through this fantastic book.

Philippians Reading & Study Plan

11-Weeks // Self-directed

At the beginning of the year, we started a new sermon series on the book of Philippians! A few of our team members put together a reading and study plan with some helpful tools designed to equip you to glean more from your study of God’s Word. It is our earnest hope that the Lord uses this study to deepen your understanding of God’s Word and your heart’s affections for Christ in the months ahead.

The study covers eleven weeks and is available as a PDF.
