Understanding ourselves is tough, but understanding our spouse can be even harder. Often, we run into conflict and misunderstandings because we don’t process the different ways our spouse and we see and make sense of the world around us. We know that the gospel of Jesus Christ and His Word are the true agents of transformation. Thankfully, the Enneagram can provide a useful tool to assist us in making sense of our own brokenness, the default behavior patterns we fall into, and the nuanced ways we deal with conflict, anxiety, and relationships.
Over the course of an evening, we hope to help married couples develop empathy and understanding for themselves and their spouse. Most importantly, we will discover how the Gospel itself powerfully speaks to and illuminates our unique Enneagram type. As a certified enneagram coach, Ben Sciacca will discuss the core motivations, strengths, and weaknesses for all nine types and some strategies for married couples to navigate conflicts and communicate with more grace and understanding.
This class will be held on-campus at 4th & Spring, located across from the front entrance to the church. It will meet once on October 16th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. The cost per couple is $20.
