Disciple-Making Group - Group Begins
One of the goals of Redeemer's Missions Ministry is cultivating a missional lifestyle in our church family and practicing disciple-making together. One of the ways we make that a reality is through Disciple-Making Groups. These are small groups of believers who gather for ten weeks to grow in evangelism, discipleship, and prayer in the context of a team.
So what do these groups do for ten weeks? The primary focus of this group is to encourage members into deeper times of fellowship, prayer, Bible study, and accountability as the team lives and ministers together in a missional community. "Mission" is not one of the purposes of the group - it is the reason the group exists.
The groups gather once a week to look back on all that God has done that week, discuss what we have learned, and look ahead to what God will do in the coming week. We take time for worship and prayer, dive into God's word, and practice evangelism tools. But the primary focus of these groups takes place outside of the scheduled meeting times, with weekly missional rhythms we develop together. We also practice a 3-2-1 lifestyle - three hours a week with Jesus, two hours a week with the lost, and one hour a week in corporate prayer. Our prayer is that God will move in mighty ways in our midst through this group commitment.
Though Disciple-Making Groups last for ten weeks, we hope to help you develop an enduring, missional lifestyle that will continue to replicate with other believers for years to come.
This class will be held off-campus. It will meet weekly on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM from January 30th - April 17th. If you have any questions, feel free to send Patrick a message.

Enneagram in the Context of Marriage Class
Understanding ourselves is tough, but understanding our spouse can be even harder. Often, we run into conflict and misunderstandings because we don’t process the different ways our spouse and we see and make sense of the world around us. We know that the gospel of Jesus Christ and His Word are the true agents of transformation. Thankfully, the Enneagram can provide a useful tool to assist us in making sense of our own brokenness, the default behavior patterns we fall into, and the nuanced ways we deal with conflict, anxiety, and relationships.

Redeemer Post-Grads
The jump from college to the working world can be isolating and fraught with spiritual challenges. For many believers, the bulk of the stabilizing forces in their life – friends, small groups, college ministries – are suddenly gone. Our mission is to prepare new college graduates and graduate students for their transition into the working world and the Body of Christ. This ten-week class is designed to equip our post-grads for a healthy entry into the church body, with practical teaching and gospel-centered encouragement.
Women’s July Book Study (Thursday) - Class Begins
After his martyrdom at the hands of the Gestapo in 1945, Dietrich Bonhoeffer continued his witness in the hearts of Christians around the world. His Letters and Papers from Prisonbecame a prized testimony to Christian faith and courage, read by thousands. Now in Life Together we have Pastor Bonhoeffer's experience of Christian community. This story of a unique fellowship in an underground seminary during the Nazi years reads like one of Paul's letters. It gives practical advice on how life together in Christ can be sustained in families and groups. The role of personal prayer, worship in common, everyday work, and Christian service is treated in simple, almost biblical, words. Life Together is bread for all who are hungry for the real life of Christian fellowship.

Women’s June Book Study (Thursday) - Class Begins
All of us live with some sort of longing in our hearts—a gap between the life we want and the life we actually have. As we try to navigate this sense of longing and the circumstances we desperately wish would change, we try to hang on to the belief that God will fulfill our desires, while waiting to see the answers to our prayers realized. For some, those prayers are answered. Yet for others, the longing persists, making us weary at best and debilitated at worst. Living this way leaves us asking the same questions: “How do I find God’s joy in this life when it isn’t the life I hoped for?” or “How do I deal with the gap between the life I want and the life I’ve been given?” In this book, Bible teacher and fellow traveler down the well-worn road of unmet longings Elizabeth Woodson equips you for joyful living in that gap.
