In 2008, Redeemer started in a home.
From our beginnings as a house church in Crestwood to multiple services in our Avondale sanctuary, one of Redeemer’s core convictions has been gospel hospitality. While that can take many forms, most often it looks like breaking bread with strangers at our dinner tables.
In fact, nearly every Redeemer member started by sharing a meal with Pastor Joel and his wife Lauren at their home. Even as Redeemer has grown exponentially, it is a core experience that can’t be replaced.
If you’re new to Redeemer or ready to start the next steps towards membership, we encourage you to join us for a meal at the Brooks’ home soon. You’ll get a chance to meet Joel and Lauren, fellowship with others that are new to Redeemer, and learn more about the heart of our church.
