Funerals at Redeemer
We are available to host funeral and memorial services in our historic sanctuary. If you are navigating the loss of a loved one and would like to explore using our facilities to gather, remember, and give thanks for their life, we would be glad to walk with you through the details. We encourage you to reach out to Tutta Stabler, our Hospitality Director, for more information.

A Pastor and the Hospitality Director will help guide you through this process.

Funerals may be scheduled on any day, based on facility availability and the church calendar, with the exception of Sundays. Because Sundays are reserved for regular worship gatherings and ministry activities, we are unable to host funeral services on that day. We encourage families to connect with our team as early as possible so we can help coordinate a date and time that best serves their needs.
-
Any flowers delivered to the church during the week of the service will be present and arranged for both the service and/or visitation. If the family chooses to have flowers displayed on the stage, all arrangements must be removed promptly after the service concludes.
-
We are happy to set up a livestream link in advance that you can share with family and friends.
-
We do not typically provide childcare for funerals and memorial services. However, if there is a need for children who are immediate family members, our children’s ministry team would be glad to help arrange a trusted sitter for the duration of the service.
-
Redeemer does not charge a facility fee. However, if you plan to use musicians, we encourage providing each musician with an honorarium in appreciation for their time and service.
-
Redeemer does not provide a full meal; however, light refreshments will be available for the family during the pre-service meeting. If you would like to arrange a meal or reception before or after the service, we are happy to provide recommendations for local caterers.
-
Visitations can be held in the Lower Room of the Hughes Building.

Redeemer is glad to help coordinate musicians for the service. We ask that families consider providing each musician with an honorarium in appreciation for their time and care.
