How have you seen there be a "cost" to following Jesus in your own life?
Have you even been tempted to believe that following Jesus is costing you more or less than someone else? What made/makes you feel this way?
Is there anything that wholeheartedly following Jesus could potentially cost you, but that you haven't been willing to consider?
Reread Mark 10:29-31. What sticks out to you about the rewards that Jesus promises here for his followers?
In all likelihood, some of us have experienced the rich blessings Jesus promises here through the Church while others of us have been let down by, disappointed with or even hurt by what they've experienced in church community. If you've experienced the Church acting like the blessing Jesus promises what has that looked like? If that has not been your experience, what would you hope that would look like in your life?
How can our Home Group more fully embody being the fulfillment of what Jesus promises in this Scripture?
Where or how is God calling you personally to be family to others in a way that offers them the promised rewards of this Scripture?
