What most stands out to you in the Scripture and why?
Read Revelation 3:20 and reread the first two lines of Isaiah 50:2. What do you think it looks like when the Lord "stands at the door and knocks?" Also, what does it look like for us to answer his knocking and calling?
How come obeying God's voice will often lead us into places of darkness or weariness?
In what ways do you feel weary or like you're in a place of darkness now?
What does it mean or look like for the Word of God to "sustain...him who is weary?"

Joel said, "it is in the darkness that faith becomes real...especially when faithful obedience is the last thing we want to do." How might God be using your current circumstances to strengthen or stretch your faith?
