  2. What stands out to you about Jesus in the account of the Fig Tree (Mark 11:12-14; 20-21)?

  3. What stands out to you about Jesus in the Temple Rebuke (Mark 11:15-19)?

  4. What are some areas of your heart or life in which (by the Lord's grace) you’ve been bearing fruit lately?

  5. Read Revelation 3:1.  Similar to the fig tree or temple, are there any ways that you resonate with the idea of looking alive outwardly, but ultimately not bearing the fruit the Lord desires?

  6. How can we help one another seek the Lord and not just go through the motions of doing Christian-seeming activities?

  7. How might this passage in Mark 11 lead us to see Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross with deeper appreciation and glory?
